It was the beginning of a cultural, social and economic process which has resulted in what today we call <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">globalisation.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Works are lovingly and historically selected from the songbooks of Paris, Elv\u00e1s, Lisbon, Bel\u00e9m, Uppsala and la Colombina. Two lovers of the arts and the music of their time. It was nothing more that led Juana the 1st to this situation than the thirst for power of her father Ferdinand the Catholic, her husband Philip the Handsome and her son Charles the 5th.<\/p>\n<p>Hexacordo wish to pay homage to this woman and to eradicate the nickname \u2018the Mad\u2019 from the first born daughter of the Catholic Kings. Hexacordo, recreating this tradition, bring us works in which this melody and Maria herself are the protagonists.<\/p>\n<p>Various European composers have composed motets, sonatas, masses etc. as musical commentaries dedicated to this prayer.<\/p>\n<p>La gran variedad conceptual sobre Mar\u00eda y la devoci\u00f3n existente en cada pa\u00eds, se ve reflejada en la diversidad de obras que interpreta Hexacordo.<\/p>\n<p>Obras de H. All the works of this programme, by eight different composers, have in common the tune of the motet \u201cAncor che col partire\u201d composed by Cipriano de Rore (1515-1565), published in Venice in 1547. Works which bring \nus close to the use of ornamentation in the Renaissance.
